IGNISKenya-proven and working across Africa. We build the delivery and financing infrastructure for institutional clean energy, connecting the demand, the economics and the technology.
Founded in Kenya to close Africa's institutional clean cooking gap, IGNIS Innovation Africa is an energy services company. Institutional energy transition already has the demand, the economics, and the technology. What it lacked was the delivery and financing infrastructure to connect them. We build it, funded from the fuel budgets institutions already spend.
Our mission: manage and implement clean energy programmes that are user-centric, verifiable, and transformative, so the savings build the system and the health, equity, and climate gains follow across the continent.
Designed for institutions and households across Africa.
Powered by sustainable, efficient, and dignified cooking solutions, for every kitchen, in every community.
We manage and implement clean energy programmes for institutions and households, blending finance and delivery to make the transition real.
At IGNIS, we thrive on collaboration, innovation, and impact-driven action. Our team combines global expertise with deep local insights, working in agile loops of design, testing, and deployment. We prioritize field realities, user feedback, and transparent data to create solutions that truly work in African contexts.
Our culture is defined by relentless problem-solving, respect for communities, and a commitment to long-term partnerships, an environment where creativity meets accountability to build a cleaner, healthier future.

Pipeline & GrowthElizabeth works across partnerships, commercial development and the growth of CleanCookIQ — and cares less about clean energy as an idea than about seeing the transition actually happen.
PartnershipsWilson scouts and builds strategic alliances across African markets, so clean cooking solutions actually reach the households and institutions that need them.
